Hey, this is a quick update from Jeff. I've been in communication with the crew via satellite messaging. They have been out of cell phone range for a few days, and the AIS coverage (marinetraffic.com) is poor. Here is a synopsis since the last update:
Thursday April 14: long run from Nanaimo, planning to stop Campbell River but tides were right, so went through Seymour Narrows, anchored Plumper Cove.
Friday April 15: Most of Johnstone Straight. Here is a pic from Paula:
Anchored Cutter Cove.
Saturday April 16: More of Johnstone Straight, anchored Miles Inlet.
Sunday April 17: Transit of Cape Caution (well named!). Anchoring in Fury Cove.
That's it! Hopefully Emma will take over this job again when they reach Shearwater.
